Wood fire · Natural wine · Twenty-two seats
Dinner, cooked over an open fire.
One room, one fire, one menu that changes with the market. We cook what arrived this morning and pour what we love. Come hungry, stay late.
The fire decides the menu.
We built the room around the hearth, not the other way round. Every morning the market decides what we cook; every evening the fire decides how. Whole fish over embers, bread proved slow and burnt a little on purpose, vegetables cooked until they taste of themselves. There is no freezer and no microwave in this building.
