Alpine Chalets · 2,400m

Warm timber, cold air, and the whole valley below.

Hand-built chalets in larch and glass, set where the piste meets the treeline. Ski straight to the door in the morning and thaw by a stone hearth when the light goes blue.

One north face, held quiet for four families a season.

Aerie owns a single sheltered shoulder of the north face, above the crowds and below the wind. We build in larch and local stone so the chalets weather into the slope rather than sitting on it, and we hold the density low on purpose: a handful of homes, a private cat track to the lift, and dark skies you can actually see. The mountain is the amenity. Everything we build tries to get out of its way.

From the mountain

You unclip your skis at the door and the fire is already lit. That is the whole pitch, and they deliver it every day.

The larch has gone silver in three winters and looks better than the day we moved in. Built to age, not to impress.

Nine chalets on the whole face. You ski down at dusk and yours is the only light on the shoulder.
