This is the agreement between you and the operator of designdeck.ai when you claim a preview or pay for a site. It is written to be read once and understood. Where a clause limits what you get, it says so in the same size type as the part you were hoping for.
DesignDeck is operated as a sole business from Dubai, United Arab Emirates. One person runs it, and that person reads every message the site sends. In these terms “we”, “us” and “DesignDeck” mean that operator, and “you” means the person or company using the service.

Until those are filled in, this page names no legal entity, which is a gap Stripe and most business customers will ask about.]
You pick a design from our catalogue, put your own words and images into it, and we render and host the result at an address on designdeck.ai, or on your own domain from the Siteplan up. There is one application serving every customer’s site. You are buying a hosted, maintained website, not a copy of software and not a project delivered to you as files.
Hosting, security patches, the certificate, the uptime and the ongoing upkeep are all included in the price. There is no separate hosting bill and no setup fee.
Anyone can claim a preview without a card. The preview is a real site on a real address, served by the same code that serves paying customers, with our badge in the corner. It runs for 7 days.
The clock only runs while the site can actually be paid for. If card payments are not open, nothing expires, and a preview keeps the date it started with rather than being reset, so the countdown resumes rather than restarts on the day payment opens. We will not take a preview down for non-payment on a day when payment was impossible.
When a preview does expire it stops being served and its content is deleted. There is no grace period and no archive you can pay to recover, so keep your own copy of anything you would miss.
A preview address is claimed first come, first served. There is no account and no login: the edit link you are given carries a secret key, and anyone holding that link can edit the site. Treat it like a password.
Every price is in US dollars, one list price worldwide, shown on the pricing page. Payment is by card through Stripe, who process the payment and issue the receipt.
A paid site is a subscription. Monthly plans renew every month and annual plans renew every year, on the anniversary of the first charge, until you cancel. Two months free on annual: pay for ten months, get twelve.
Prices can change, but never for a subscription that is already running without notice first: a price change takes effect at your next renewal, and you can cancel before it rather than accept it. Any promotional price is a first-period price only and the plan renews at the list price shown on the pricing page unless the offer says otherwise on the page you bought from.
Prices exclude any tax that applies where you are. If a sales tax, VAT or similar is due on your purchase, it is added at checkout or is your responsibility, depending on the country you are buying from.
If a payment fails, Stripe retries it on its own schedule. If it keeps failing, the site reverts to a preview, which means the badge comes back and the expiry clock starts. It is not deleted the moment a card bounces.
We never sell the code, and that sentence has a precise legal meaning rather than a marketing one. The designs, the templates, the rendering application, the source code and everything we made to build them remain our intellectual property. Nothing in this agreement transfers ownership of any of it to you.
What you get is a licence: for as long as your subscription is paid, you may use, show and promote the site we render for you, at your address, for your own business. The licence is non-exclusive, worldwide and not transferable, it covers the hosted rendering of your site and nothing else, and it ends when the subscription ends.
You do not get the source files, a repository, a copy you can host elsewhere, or the right to have the design rebuilt by somebody else. You may not copy, decompile, resell, sublicense or reproduce the design or the code, and you may not use it as the basis for another site.
Your words, your images, your logo, your name and your domain are yours and stay yours. You can take all of it anywhere at any time, and we do not claim a licence to it beyond what we need to host and display your site, which ends when your site does.
Everything you put into your site is your responsibility: the text, the photographs, the logo, the prices, the claims you make about your business, and any personal data of other people that ends up in it. We do not check it before it goes live.
You confirm that you own or have permission to use everything you put in, including every image. Images added by URL are loaded from wherever you point them at, and pointing at somebody else’s photograph does not give you the right to publish it. Stock photographs, fonts, brand marks and press quotations all need a licence or a source, and a quotation from a publication that did not say it is not a small problem.
Our decks ship with placeholder text, placeholder statistics and placeholder testimonials so an unfinished site still looks like a finished one. They are ours, they are marked as placeholders in the editor, and they are not claims about your business. If you publish them unchanged, they become your statements about your own business and you are responsible for them.
You keep the copyright in your content. You grant us only the permission we need to store it, render it and serve it as your website, for as long as we are hosting it.
You may not use a site we host for anything unlawful where you are or where we are, and you may not use it to publish content that infringes someone else’s rights, defames a person, harasses anyone, or sexually exploits or endangers a child.
You may not use it to impersonate another business or person, to run a scam, a phishing page or a fake shop, to distribute malware, to sell things the United Arab Emirates prohibits, or to publish content that would put our hosting providers in breach of their own rules.
You may not attack the service: no attempts to break authentication, to reach another customer’s site data, to scrape the catalogue in bulk, to overload the platform, or to claim addresses in bulk in order to resell or withhold them.
Where we can, we will ask you to fix a problem before doing anything else. Where the content is clearly illegal or is putting the platform at risk, we may take the site down first and explain afterwards.
We aim to keep every site up all the time and we watch for outages, but we do not offer a guaranteed uptime figure and we do not pay service credits. Hosting providers fail, certificates expire, domains lapse and networks break. What we promise is that fixing it is our job and not yours.
We improve the platform continuously, so the design of your site may change slightly as the underlying deck is improved. We will not make a change that removes a capability your plan says you have.
Support is a person answering messages, not a rota. There is no telephone line and no guaranteed response time. Anything sent through a form on this site reaches a queue a person reads.
You can cancel at any time, from the billing portal linked in your site’s edit page, or by asking us. There is no notice period, no cancellation fee and no invoice afterwards for a thing you have turned off.
Cancelling stops the renewal. The site stays up and unwatermarked until the end of the period you have already paid for. After that it reverts to a preview: the badge comes back and a 7 day clock starts. When that runs out the site stops being served and its content is deleted. Take a copy of anything you want to keep before then, because we do not hold an archive you can buy back.
A custom domain is yours. Cancelling here does not touch your registration; you simply point it somewhere else.
We can end the agreement too, if you break the acceptable use section above, if a payment goes unpaid, or if we stop offering the service entirely. If we shut the service down, we will give reasonable notice and refund the unused part of anything you have paid in advance.

The service is provided as it is. We do not promise that a website will bring you customers, revenue, rankings or enquiries, and nothing on this site should be read as a promise that it will.
To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for lost profits, lost business, lost data, lost goodwill, or any indirect or consequential loss arising from the service or from an interruption to it. Our total liability to you for any claim, however it arises, is limited to the amount you actually paid us in the twelve months before the claim.
Nothing here limits liability for fraud, for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited. If you are a consumer, you keep every right your local consumer law gives you, and nothing in these terms takes one away.
You agree to cover us against claims brought by other people because of content you published on a site we host, including claims about images, copy, quotations or personal data you put into it.
These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates as applied in the Emirate of Dubai, and the courts of Dubai have jurisdiction over any dispute. If you are a consumer resident elsewhere, this does not deprive you of the protection of the mandatory consumer law of the country you live in.

We can update these terms. The date at the top of this page is the date of the current version. A change that materially reduces what you get takes effect at your next renewal rather than immediately, so you can cancel instead of accepting it.
There are two ways anything reaches you from us, and it is worth knowing which is which. Stripe issues receipts, invoices and card notices from its own systems. Everything else is a person, reading the queue and replying from their own mailbox. There is no mailing list and no automated mail here at all.
To reach that person, use the form at the foot of the homepage. It is read by a human being, not a bot, and it is the only contact route the product offers.
