Vellum started as Sunday afternoons in a coastal barn, the kind of place where the reverb is free and the roof leaks over the drum kit. Six years and three records later the songs still carry that damp, golden light: guitars run through old tape, close harmonies, lyrics about the towns you grow up desperate to leave and spend the rest of your life driving back to.
