The visitor wants the menu, the address, the hours and a way to book, in that order, in under fifteen seconds, on a phone, outdoors, one-handed. An enormous amount of restaurant web design is built as though somebody were browsing it at a desk with time to spare. They are not. They are standing on a street deciding where to eat.
These are restaurants, bakeries, a distillery and a roastery, built to answer those four things immediately and then, only then, to be beautiful. Open one and time how long it takes to find the menu.
