A booking is a large, refundable decision made on a small screen.
The visitor is comparing you against three other tabs and a marketplace listing that is showing your own rooms at a commission. What you own that the marketplace does not is the ability to show the place properly: the light, the scale, the walk from the door to the water. Do that and the direct booking is worth the ten percent you keep.
Hotels, a travel company and a charter operator, all finished. Open one and notice how much of the screen is given to the place and how little to the form.
