Nobody hands money or a legal problem to a website that looks improvised.
This is the category where the design is doing almost all of the persuading, because the service itself is invisible and largely identical from the outside. A firm with a crooked logo, a 2011 template and a stock handshake is telling the visitor something about its attention to detail that no amount of copy will undo.
A fintech, an accounting practice and a law firm, all finished and all built to read as competent before they read as anything else. That is the entire brief in this category, and it is harder than it sounds.
